ADA Technology Services is proud to announce the opening of its second data centre in Birmingham. The new Birmingham data centre further extends ADA's 'Software as a Service' capabilities build around technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV. ADA's Solihull based data centre also brings advanced infrastructure and disaster recovery services to the Midlands area on a 'Pay Monthly’ basis. Consequently, companies in the Midlands area are able to expand their IT capabilities with minimum capital outlay.
Since opening its Birmingham office in 2003, ADA has grown its Midlands operation based around a core proposition of fully scalable IT managed services. Via a new virtualised 'Infrastructure as a Service’ platform, ADA’s Birmingham data centre will provide ‘Software as a Service’ and hosted disaster recovery services. Should disaster recovery plans ever need to be invoked, ADA’s disaster recovery clients will be able to access their data quickly and expediently.
ADA’s ‘Cloud Computing’ proposition is built around an innovative payment model which allows organisations to reduce initial capital expenditure by paying over time. This new approach to IT infrastructure financing allows organisations to control IT overheads as they grow.
Commenting on the announcement, ADA’s managing director David Rabson said "ADA’s purpose built data centres in Solihull and Burgess Hill bring the benefits of ‘Cloud Computing’ to all organisations via a highly flexible payment model. Our fresh approach to utility computing and disaster recovery is driving our expansion, at a time when other IT businesses are looking to downsize".
